Puliyampilly Bhagavathi Kshethram

NEDUNGAD PULIYAMPILLIY BHAGAVATHY KSHETHRAM was said to be established in the later part of 18th century at Nedungad.. It is the oldest temple ever existed at Nedungad or in nearby areas offering peace and prosperity to all the devotees in that area. Nedungad is a small island off the central eastern part of the main Vypin Island in Ernakulam District in Kerala, in southern India. Nana Durga with the shade of Bhadrakali is the idol of Goddess in Nedungad Puliyampilly Temple. Though in the olden days the Goddess in this temple was worshipped and taken care of by all devotees living in that island , like many other temples this temple was also declining for the last many years. However due to various spiritual reasons experienced and the intensive belief of the devotees on this Godess the devotees have now realized the importance of developing this temple as one of the best in this area for Bhagavathy's continued blessings. So we are moving forward with our visions to bring it up.
